Meeting Dates
Our public meetings are held the FIRST TUESDAY of each month at 7pm in the meeting room at the new shelter building at 1309 W. S. 7th in Shelbyville.(not yet open for business 9/20/07) EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to attend. (You don't have to be a member.) The meetings are about one hour and may include a featured guest speaker as well as discussion time. Just come to listen or bring your ideas.
We rely on people to help accomplish many things, large and small, and we need you now. Please consider this one hour a month of your time as an investment in the well-being of needy animals in Shelby County. A little of your time can make a BIG DIFFERENCE for them.

Feb. 14th SHS Pet of the Year Calendar Contest begins foe 2009 Calendars. Winners wil be announced October 18th and appear in the 2009 Pet Calendars. The general public will selecrt 12 winners to recieve Private Pet Photo Sessions., Pet Gift Baskets full of godies for teir pets and appear in the SHS 2009 Pets of the Year Calendars.
